In writing we become

There’s not a lot I know of life, I am only 19. However, I have recently found that sometimes, you just need to be someone else. Just for a little while. And when I write – fiction, poems, I get that.

But recently I’ve started writing down my own feelings and thoughts throughout my day, it’s like I’m so in touch with myself. As if I finally get why I do what I do; why I am what I am. I found that now I don’t second guess myself.

Seeing as I’m not making much sense, I’ll tell you my point. Sometimes, you get in your head, and once you start to clear it all out you can surprise yourself in more ways than just one.

100 days of summer

Before I crack open a good book and head out for a swim, i thought I’d make a small pubic declaration. And instead of waffling around the subject as I often do, here it is;

This summer I will be giving myself 100 days to completely declutter and become organised.

Sounds easy right? Well, not so much, I am a massive hoarder, i hold on to everything and it hurts to throw things away. It’s got to the point where my stuff is pouring out of my stuff, the wardrobe doors don’t close and the contents of the shelves dangling.

With this post I have made a public promise, to blog, and keep blogging and never forget to blog for the next 100 days. But please, try not to hold me too it, I’m somewhat flakey.

Covet fashion craze.

So I’m totally hooked on this one ios fashion game, and I’m not a fan of ios games, they’re usually really fun for a while then the fun fades with time, or perhaps I’m just getting old. This game is called covet fashion, and it’s pretty simple to play, you enter outfits you put together with designer garments into events in order to earn cash to buy new virtual garments (obviously not real garments else. I’d have to consider a career change). But here’s the genius part, in order to earn tickets to enter the events, the players vote on the looks they like. Therefore the players dictate the results.

But I’ve noticed a flaw in this little system we have going on, with all the infinite combinations with new garments and players different tastes, the top looks are always the same look, and it is never you.

So I took to the internet, as frustrated as you might get when you’ve been obsessing over a game since it came out last year and never seemed to make a big win.
